I grew up with a zoo of pets—from hamsters to horses, I get along with creatures of all shapes and sizes! I’ve raised, adopted, and trained enough pets that I feel confident I can adapt to the needs of any animal. I know how to hold my own with big animals that push boundaries but I'm gentle and patient with anxious pets. Caring for animals has been a core part of my life for as long as I can remember.

You can expect to get a lot of pictures and daily updates when I'm housesitting and caring for your pet. I love to keep in contact and keep pet owners in the loop on how their fur child is doing, because I know that's what I'd want!

When caring for pets in your home, I’ll ask about all of the rules that your pet follows at home, and how your pet likes to play at home. My goal will be to accomplish your goals—you have a high energy puppy that doesn’t sleep at night? I’ll wear them out with endless rounds of fetch. Do you have an older cat who just wants to be bothered as little as possible? They won’t even notice I’m there, but you’ll feel good knowing I am.

The Pet Parade is my full time job, in addition to a few other plates I have spinning—graduate school (MBA) and working in Chicago’s bustling live theater scene as a manager. In all of my jobs I am my own boss and in charge of my own schedule, so I can be extremely flexible to your pet's routine. I also own and drive a car which means I can be available for last-minute drop ins!
